The long awaited merger between US friendly poker rooms, Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet, went into effect last Tuesday.  With players from both online rooms playing together at the same virtual tables, Cereus has now established itself as one of the top three online poker communities.  Players at both sites will see an immediate increase in tournament guarantees, promotions and a significantly larger Bad Beat Jackpot. Within hours of the launch, Cereus moved into 7th place on PokerScout’s traffic ranking. The Cereus Network moved ahead of the International Poker Network (Boss Media) and fellow US friendly competitor, the Cake Network.

This news provides a tremendous opportunity for rakeback affiliates. There are a vast number of players at AP and UB who have wanted to get rakeback but couldn’t because they signed through a non-rakeback affiliate.
