Monday Sales Call: A Visit from an Old Friend

We had the pleasure of meeting with a long time PAS publisher last week. Rakebackaces came into the office Friday morning. We have worked with RBA for the last 18 moths and have been industry friends since the Party days. We went over the current projects him and his team are working on and how we can meet their needs. A few of the “needs” we already have and… Continue reading

Monday Sales Call: Broaden Your Target Market

As you may or may not know, Poker Affiliate Solutions has expanded our poker affiliate network. We are now offering affiliates CPA (cost per action) and non-rakeback Revenue Share deals. I have chatted with several PAS Publishers who plan on launching sites in the near future targeting non-rakeback players. I think they are very wise.

Many of our Publishers have little experience marketing to the new poker player. They… Continue reading

Monday Sales Call: Vegas Trip Report

Friday

Wake up in pain because I took a softball to the face the night before. My nose got busted open and there is some swelling. Other than that, life is good cause it’s Vegas time. Byron and I get on our plane and say goodbye to the money in our pockets and bank accounts.

We land in Vegas, catch a cab to Caesars and attempt to check in. We are told… Continue reading

Publisher Spotlight: RakebackAces

It’s the summer of 2007 and I have made the decision to go back to school and finish my college degree. I started out with a small schedule and added a few more classes by spring semester. I was getting solid grades and getting closer and closer to the almighty college degree when I started having some problems.

In addition to my schooling I am a full time rakeback affiliate. It’s… Continue reading

This Week at PAS – March 27

This week we removed Poker4Ever from PAS. Poker4Ever started deducting 100% of bonuses from our commissions. This essentially meant that the more players we sent to Poker4Ever claiming a first deposit bonus, the more in the red we would go. There are not any offers on PAS that deduct 100% of a bonus from commission, this would make it impossible to make money promoting virtually any poker… Continue reading

Publisher Spotlight: MegaRakeback

I started MegaRakeback.com in 2005 for a couple reasons. I got in when things were still in the early stages and saw some different opportunities. Opportunities for what? Of course I wanted to make money, but I also had the illusion of working for myself one day. The risk/reward seemed like a no brainer to me. There were little start up costs and my only real investment would be time… Continue reading

This week is the week publishers and players all look forward to. This week was payment week. There were a couple of bumps this week that have been straightened out. Publisher Spotlight: SloRakeback

I started with affiliating some 4 years ago, that were times when Party Poker was prevailing the poker market. I signed up a few friend and also dropped some offline material in the biggest card room in Europe (at this time, not sure if it still is). The results were nothing special but I noticed that here is money to be made. When I was first introduced to rakeback I… Continue reading

Publisher Spotlight: TAGPoker

The only way that I can really sum up becoming a poker affiliate is by accident. I played a crazy amount of poker and started to feel myself burn out. I was simply getting bored of the grind and the game I loved so much was fastly becoming a chore.

I accidentally stumbled across PAS whilst browsing for rake back deals. What’s strange about that is the fact that I was… Continue reading
